Software Developer – C++, Python

Requried

• 35 years overall experience, minimum 3+ years in C++.
• Strong knowledge in:
• Pointers, OOP concepts, debugging, template programming.
• Ability to understand and analyze code.
• Python: Minimum 2+ year relevant experience. Should be able to write Python scripts to test APIs.
• IDE Exposure: Visual Studio required; Xcode exposure goodtohave.
• C++ Standards: C++11/14/17/20 acceptable; team not using latest C++23 features; strong fundamentals more important.

For Level 3 (P3)

• 58 years total experience, minimum 4+ years in C++.
• Expected deeper expertise in:
• Asynchronous communication
• Exception handling
• Pointers & memory handling
• Callback/notification mechanisms
• CMake configuration
• Independent project build & debug capabilities
• Python: Minimum 2+ year relevant experience acceptable.
• Mac/Xcode: Mandatory to build and debug for Level 3; ability to work with Macbased builds.
• Windows/Visual Studio: Must be proficient.

3. Platform & Development Environment Expectations

• Both roles work on API development across three layers:

C++ Python Java bindings.

• Should be able to:
• Build APIs using existing frameworks
• Validate APIs through Python scripts
• Build/compile using Visual Studio (Windows) and Xcode (Mac)
• Use existing CMake and project setup scripts
• Debug build and runtime issues in respective IDEs

4. Additional Skills & Good-to-Have

• Exposure to CAD/2D/3D geometry or graphics software development is an added advantage (not mandatory).
• Familiarity with AI tools like Cursor for productivity gains:
• No specific years of experience required
• Ability to generate prompts, derive API skeletons, etc.
