About Us
Interview Kickstart (IK) helps software engineers prepare for technical interviews at companies like Google, Meta, Netflix, and Amazon. We offer a comprehensive career acceleration platform that includes live classes, mock interviews, interview prep tools, and career coaching delivered by current and former hiring managers from top tech companies.
We are a fully remote, fast-growing company and are looking for strong backend engineers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale backend features end-to-end
- Develop and optimize APIs, focusing on performance and reliability
- Handle on-call bug resolution and ensure product stability
- Write clean, maintainable, and test-driven code
- Optionally contribute to frontend work using Next.js or jQuery if interested
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience with Python and Django / Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Proficiency with MySQL, Git, and GitHub/GitLab workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration ability
- Bonus: Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, AI-first mindset
