Software Dev Engr Sr

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with strong Mainframe Assembler (or TPF Assembler) application programming experience, who will:

This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications or systems. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and reliable software solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. Their responsibilities may also include troubleshooting issues, optimizing code, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

• Develop software applications independently or as part of a team with little instruction.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Perform maintenance, development and support in CSG's mainframe online billing system.
• Analysis, developing, testing, validation and collaborative approach are all part of daily activities.

• Bachelor's degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ Years of strong experience of working on the Mainframes with programming primarily in Assembler.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• Experience in providing QA support.
• Experience in JCL/COBOL a plus.
• Experience in DB2 a plus.
• Experience in Java experience a plus.
• Candidates with experience in TPF Assembler may apply as well, if they are willing to learn
