Software Designer

Mobile Surgery Systems are intense software systems both in terms of front-end and back end. We are looking for a passionate SW professional, who can work very closely with the business to ensure the right system level definition, decomposition, choices, interfaces and acceptance criteria.

Someone with an in-depth experience and expertise at both academic and professional level, who can make a fundamental and significant contribution to the innovation of the product/process, basis strong research and pre-development data.

Your role:

• The design, realization and test of a system, subsystem and component; understands and communicates the consequences of the design on the architecture.

• Developing the work with focus on consumer needs and technological competitiveness, and keeping this outside-in approach in mind for the designs he/she builds.

• Developing as per the design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications and testing, analyzing and verifying their performance.

• Responsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project leader.

• Ensuring that there is proper documentation for the developed software.

• Building initiatives with regards to the technological improvements, and performing future-oriented studies in dialogue with other specialists

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor of Engineering in the field of computer science/ Electronics and Communication and 8-15 years related work experience.

• At least 3 years exp with System SW having experience working on C++ tech stack

• Knowledge and experience spanning multiple engineering disciplines

• Medical diagnostic industry awareness preferred

• Extensive experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans.

• Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.

• Strong knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices

• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Experience working in a team-centric, collaborative environment

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office based role.
