Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements using Program Control Services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements using Program Control Services. - Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software configuration and customization meet business requirements. - Ensure software configuration and customization adhere to industry standards and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Program Control Services. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in software configuration management tools such as Git, SVN, or ClearCase. - Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and best practices. - Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. - Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Control Services. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software configuration solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
