• Balances low-code speed with enterprise-grade architecture
• Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Experience

• 68 years of overall application development experience
• 4+ years of hands-on Mendix development
• Proven experience leading Mendix projects or programs
• Should have experience of refactoring existing applications
• Should have strong Database understanding, domain modelling skills.
• Experience with Mendix 9.x / 10.x
• Experience with Mendix upgrade and platform upgrades
• Must have Mendix Native experience.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Mendix Advanced Developer
• Mendix Expert Developer
• Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure) nice to have

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end Mendix application architectures
• Define application structure, domain models, microflows, and integrations
• Review and approve complex technical designs and implementations
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of solutions

Platform & Governance

• Define and enforce Mendix development standards and best practices
• Own environment strategy, deployment approach, and release management
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and enterprise architecture guidelines
• Manage technical risks and architectural debt

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Design and oversee integrations using REST, OData, and messaging patterns
• Integrate Mendix applications with ERP, CRM, and legacy systems
• Define error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies

Performance, Quality & Security

• Guide performance tuning and optimization
• Ensure secure implementation of authentication and authorization
• Conduct technical reviews and support production readiness

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor Mendix developers and technical leads
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and DevOps teams
• Support effort estimation and delivery planning
