About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, culture-focused Social Media Marketing Manager to manage and grow one of our key Digital IPs.


In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of a platform dedicated to either current news and trending topics or the mechanics of viral marketing. We need a storyteller who can translate complex information-whether its a breaking news story or the strategy behind an "out-of-the-box" marketing campaign-into engaging, high-performing social content.


Responsibilities

Strategic Management: Develop and implement a social media strategy tailored to the specific goals and audience of the Digital IP.


Specialized Copywriting:

For the News IP: Write clear, engaging, and timely copy focused on current events and trending news topics.

For the Marketing IP: Craft insightful copy that breaks down how viral marketing works and analyzes creative brand campaigns.

Content Production: Create, edit, and publish brand-consistent content, including photos, videos, and captions that drive conversation.

Real-Time Engagement: Monitor trends and digital subcultures to ensure the IP responds to relevant topics as they happen.

Content Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive Social Media Content Calendar.

Performance Analysis: Stay updated on algorithm changes and use analytics to optimize reach and audience growth.

Research: Conduct competitive and audience research to identify new content opportunities and "the next big thing.


What Were Looking For:

Experience: 3-5 years of experience (agency background preferred).

Digital Fluency: A strong understanding of social media trends, internet culture, and how content goes viral.

Versatile Writing: Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to maintain a tone that is witty, professional, and informative.

Creative Thinking: For our marketing-focused track, an obsession with "out-of-the-box" ideas and an understanding of what makes a campaign successful.

Efficiency: A fast thinker capable of producing and posting high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Skills: Knowledge of growth strategies and the ability to interpret performance data to improve content.
