This candidate will be a subject matter expert for social channels and digital-led campaigns within the team. He/She/They will demonstrate strong ownership, and attention to detail and maintain clear and concise communication across leadership levels. He/She/They is an advocate for the customer experience on Social Media, providing ongoing social-specific insights.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
- Own the social media strategy which includes content creation, ORM, & monthly calendars
- Develop and launch paid social media campaigns for all owned brands. Make sure we build a robust media strategy and share learnings regularly to make sure we are consistently improving.
- Responsibilities include campaign testing and learning sharing, reporting, etc.
- Creates social media campaigns with content creation, and implements schedules.
- Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management.
- Coordinates with the copywriting team, content creation team, and the design team to achieve given objectives, and tasks.
- Records & overlooks all blockers by colleagues as well as junior team members.
- Manage creative, media & influencer agencies to plan and execute campaigns.
- Create social-first campaigns to deliver on the KPIs.
- Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings.
- Social media listening, monitoring & reporting.
- Conduct competitor & scans based on the brand.
- Focus on creating appropriate response sheets for different social media platforms.
- Overlook, Manage & Handle social media pages of client brands.
- Work with platform partners to ensure the business is adopting the latest product features and best practices.
- Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in social media management, and/or social media planning.
- Passion for social media and understanding of its business impact.
- Experience working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Experience managing and negotiating media and content contracts.
- Understanding of the creative development process and media planning.
- Ability & knowledge to use AI tools to automate workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality social media campaigns in very dynamic environments & creating distribution for brands across digital platforms.
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility in social media marketing and brand advertising
- Highly detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills - the ability to capture and use various data points to develop and measure marketing programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders, team members, and people across different categories & industries.
- Have prior work experience in the FnB/Fashion/Lifestyle category.
