Job Description

About the Role


  • Day to day management of assigned social media / digital platform with an objective to scale them (engagement)
  • Build and maintain a content calendar; ensure timely publishing and channel-specific optimization.
  • Management of University Digital Club and student interns
  • Collaborate with faculty, students, designers, agencies, marketing & admissions team to source content for digital initiatives.
  • Work closely with the paid-media team on content for campaigns and provide creative assets as required.
  • Keep abreast of platform trends, creator formats, and algorithm shifts, propose experiments and new formats.
  • Conceptualize, plan and produce original short- and long-form video content for Instagram (Reels, Stories), YouTube (Shorts + long-form), and other channels
  • Own end-to-end video production: ideation, scripting/storyboarding, shooting coordination, editing, captioning, thumbnail creation and upload.
  • Management of Universitys Student Ambassadors program



Requirements


  • Minimum a Bachelors degree in Marketing related domain.
  • 5+ Years of experience in social media management.
  • Previous experience in a mid-sized or large media / publication company would be a plus.
  • Experience in video content production and familiarity with various social media platforms.
