Job Description
- The Social Media Manager is the strategic owner of Elances digital brand presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for planning, execution, performance optimization, and team leadership to ensure social media directly contributes to brand authority, student acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Develop monthly content calendar aligned with admissions targets.
- Define platform-specific strategies (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure all content reflects Elances academic positioning.
- Drive 1015% MoM growth across platforms.
- Improve content hooks, storytelling, and engagement triggers.
- Ensure consistency in posting frequency.
- Monitor trends and adapt strategy accordingly.
- Plan and execute admission-focused campaigns.
- Work with Performance Marketing team for paid amplification.
- Track ROAS and optimize based on data.
- Create funnel-specific content (awareness consideration conversion).
Conduct weekly performance review meetings.
Track:
- Engagement rate
- Reach & impressions
- Lead generation from social
- Conversion quality
- Submit Monthly Social Performance Report to Marketing Head/CEO.
Manage:
- Content Creators
- Video Editors
- Designers
- Community Manager
- Approve all final creatives before publishing.
Coordinate with:
- Sales team for testimonials
- Academics for faculty positioning
- Centers for ground-level content
- Conduct weekly review meetings with the team.
- 35 years in Social Media Strategy (Education preferred)
- Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels
- Data-driven mindset
- Strong leadership & coordination skills
