About the Role
The Social Media Manager will manage and grow Kumari Fine Jewellerys social media presence across all key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, by executing high-impact, on-brand content and building a strong, engaged community. This role focuses on content execution, platform management, and engagement, while working closely with the Brand Manager to ensure all content aligns with brand narratives, campaigns, and communication guidelines. This is an execution-led role, not a brand strategy or performance marketing role.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute monthly and weekly social media content calendars
- Manage day-to-day posting across: Instagram (primary), Facebook, YouTube (Shorts and long-form content, as applicable)
- Ensure platform-native execution while maintaining brand consistency
- Own publishing cadence, content hygiene, and optimisation for each platform
- High-Impact Content Buckets Ownership
- Plan and execute content across the following high-impact content buckets, aligned with brand and campaign direction:
- Brand Storytelling: Brand values, philosophy, and positioning-led content, Self-gifting, confidence-led, modern jewellery narratives
- Product & Collection Showcases: New launches and hero SKUs, Styling-led product storytelling, Everyday luxury and occasion-agnostic communication
- High-Engagement Reels & Shorts: Trend-led, platform-native short-form video content, Hook-driven formats optimized for reach, saves, and shares, Execution across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Education & Trust Builders: Jewellery care, styling tips, and buying guidance, Trust cues such as craftsmanship, quality, and certifications, Explainer content to reduce purchase hesitation
- Campaign & Seasonal Content: Integrated campaign rollouts, Festive, cultural, and seasonal moments, Launch-led content bursts
- Community & Social Proof: Customer stories, testimonials, and UGC, Influencer and creator-led content execution support, Engagement-focused formats including polls, Q&A, and stories
- Content & Creative Coordination
- Work closely with: Brand Manager (for narrative and campaign direction), Creative Director, Designers, video editors, photographers, External agencies and freelancers
- Translate campaign ideas and brand narratives into platform-native content
- Ensure visual, tonal, and messaging consistency across all posts
- Community & Engagement Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and story replies
- Maintain brand-safe, empathetic, and human communication
- Escalate customer queries related to orders, gifting, or complaints to relevant teams
- Build and nurture an engaged brand community
- Campaign & Launch Support
- Execute social media rollouts for: Brand campaigns, new collection launches, Festive and seasonal initiatives
- Coordinate content bursts around key campaigns and moments
- Support influencer and creator content execution
- Organic & Paid Content Alignment
- Work with performance marketing teams to identify high-performing organic posts for boosting
- Align organic content with paid creatives and campaign messaging
- Share platform-level insights to improve creative performance
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key social media metrics including Reach and engagement, Saves, shares, and comments, Reel, story, and video performance
- Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and learnings
- Share recommendations for continuous content improvement
Qualifications
36 years of experience in social media management. Experience with jewellery, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred. Strong understanding of Instagram-first content and YouTube Shorts. Ability to manage content calendars and multiple campaigns. Good command of written English for captions and communication. Strong coordination and execution skills. Basic understanding of social media analytics.
