Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to lead our digital storytelling and online engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will understand how to connect emotionally with audiences, amplify impact stories, and grow visibility for the organizations mission through powerful, authentic, and strategic content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the NGOs mission, campaigns, and outreach goals.
• Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
• Lead storytelling campaigns highlighting beneficiaries, community work, events, and impact milestones.
• Collaborate with program and fundraising teams to create cause-driven narratives that attract donors and volunteers.
• Manage online communities respond to comments, messages, and build meaningful engagement.
• Monitor analytics and prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with designers, videographers, and partners to produce visually compelling and emotionally resonant content.
• Stay updated with digital trends, platform changes, and NGO communication best practices.

Key Requirements:

• 5+years of experience in social media management, preferably in NGOs, social enterprises, or impact-driven organizations.
• Strong understanding of how to use social media for storytelling and advocacy.
• Excellent copywriting skills able to write captions that are emotional, clear, and action-oriented.
• Familiarity with fundraising,volunteering, or campaign-based content planning.
• Experience using Meta Business Suite, Canva, and social analytics tools.
• Ability to coordinate with field teams or program staff to source authentic stories and visuals.
• Strong understanding of branding and toneappropriate fornon-profit communication.
