Role: Social Media Manager
A Social Media Manager is responsible for building a brands online presence, engaging audiences, and driving business goals through social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and publish content (posts, reels, stories, videos) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Manage daily social media activity (comments, DMs, reviews, and community engagement)
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals and campaigns
- Run and optimize paid ad campaigns (Meta, Instagram, etc.)
- Track performance using analytics and prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Coordinate with designers, videographers, and marketing teams
- Stay updated with trends, algorithms, and platform updates
- Maintain brand voice, consistency, and visual identity
Required Skills:
- Strong content writing & communication skills
- Knowledge of social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
- Basic understanding of graphics & video content
- Analytics & performance tracking
- Creativity, trend awareness, and time management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
- 0 1 years experience in social media handling (varies by company)
- Experience in local or service-based brands is a plus
