Role: Social Media Manager

A Social Media Manager is responsible for building a brands online presence, engaging audiences, and driving business goals through social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and publish content (posts, reels, stories, videos) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Manage daily social media activity (comments, DMs, reviews, and community engagement)
  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals and campaigns
  • Run and optimize paid ad campaigns (Meta, Instagram, etc.)
  • Track performance using analytics and prepare weekly/monthly reports
  • Coordinate with designers, videographers, and marketing teams
  • Stay updated with trends, algorithms, and platform updates
  • Maintain brand voice, consistency, and visual identity

Required Skills:

  • Strong content writing & communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of graphics & video content
  • Analytics & performance tracking
  • Creativity, trend awareness, and time management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • 0 1 years experience in social media handling (varies by company)
  • Experience in local or service-based brands is a plus
