About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and Instagram-native Social Media Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of the latest trends and internet culture, especially Gen Z. As a Social Media Manager, you will have the freedom to think and execute like a creator, not a corporate brand page. Youll be responsible for building and growing the brands presence across Instagram and other social platforms. If youre passionate about viral formats, memes, and know what makes content go viral, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the brands Instagram and other social media platforms.
• Ideate, script, and execute high-performing Reels and other content formats.
• Identify trending audio, formats, and memes, and capitalize on them to create viral content.
• Build a strong, relatable brand personalitybold, witty, and Gen Z-friendly.
• Collaborate with founders and creators for content shoots and campaign ideas.
• Track social media analytics and optimize strategies to boost engagement, reach, and follower growth.
• Foster community engagement through comments, DMs, polls, and stories.
• Stay ahead of internet culture and trends in the creator economy, ensuring content is always fresh and relevant.

Required Qualifications

• Active Instagram profile (please share your handle).
• Strong understanding of Gen Z tone, slang, and meme culture.
• Proven experience managing brand or creator pages.
• Strong short-form content scripting skills.
• Knows how to create content that stops the scroll in the first 3 seconds.
• Comfortable being both behind and occasionally in front of the camera.
• Proficient in video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Data-driven mindset with an understanding of social media insights, engagement, and content performance.
