About the Role

At The Hype Studio, were looking for a Social Media Lead who can take complete ownership of client mandates -from strategy to execution to growth.

This role goes beyond managing existing accounts. You will also play a key role in business development by engaging with prospective clients, shaping pitches, and converting opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Ownership & Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Lead conversations, align on expectations, and manage feedback cycles
• Translate client requirements into clear, actionable plans
• Ensure delivery is timely, structured, and aligned with business goals

2. Strategy & Content Planning

• Create monthly content calendars across Instagram and LinkedIn
• Define platform-specific strategies based on brand positioning
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, series, and content themes
• Ensure content is planned with intent, not reactive

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead a team of 57 members (content, design, video)
• Allocate work, manage timelines, and ensure smooth execution
• Review outputs and maintain consistent quality standards
• Drive accountability and efficiency across the team

4. Content Direction & Ideation

• Lead content thinking and idea generation across accounts
• Guide the team on storytelling, structure, and platform relevance
• Step in to refine or create content when required

5. End-to-End Execution

• Oversee the complete workflow from ideation creation approval publishing
• Ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and clients
• Maintain consistency across all deliverables

6. Business Development & Pitching

• Engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements
• Lead discovery conversations and identify business opportunities
• Create strategic presentations and pitch decks
• Present ideas, content direction, and campaign approaches confidently
• Work closely with leadership to convert pitches into active mandates

7. Quality & Performance Oversight

• Ensure all content meets a high standard of clarity, relevance, and intent
• Track performance and identify whats working and whats not
• Continuously refine content direction based on insights

Must-Have Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in social media / content / digital marketing
• Strong experience in client handling and team management
• Proven experience in pitching and presenting to clients
• Ability to create structured presentations and proposals
• Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn content
• Solid writing and content evaluation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities
• Willingness to upskill and grow simultaneously with the team and clients

Preferred Experience

• Agency background
• Experience with founder-led and brand-led content
• Experience with campaign planning and brand strategy

Important Note

This is a high-ownership role that combines strategy, execution, team leadership, and business development.

You will be expected to lead from the front and take responsibility for both delivery and growth
