Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Lead

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Bangalore.

Experience: 5-7 years

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creatively sharp Lead Social Media to own our brand presence across all digital platforms. This role requires someone who understands storytelling, trends, community psychology, analytics, organic platform building and guiding a team to execute content at scale.

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a powerful multi-platform social media strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Identify audience segmentation, platform opportunities, and content pillars to drive growth and engagement.
  • Plan monthly/quarterly content calendars, campaign roadmaps, and brand moments.

Content Leadership

  • Lead all the social content video, static, reels, stories, UGC, thought leadership.
  • Translate insights and briefs into compelling narratives and platform-native content.
  • Work closely with design, video, and content teams to ensure quality and consistency.

Trendspotting & Innovation

  • Monitor trends, conversations, cultural moments, and new platform features to keep the brand relevant.
  • Experiment with new formats, community strategies, creator collaborations, and real-time content ideas.

Analytics & Performance

  • Track, measure, and analyze performance metrics across all channels.
  • Optimize strategies based on data and insights engagement, reach, retention, conversion.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and upskill the social media team.
  • Streamline workflows, feedback loops, and content production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams marketing, PR, performance, product.

Community + Reputation Management

  • Oversee community engagement, DMs, queries, and sentiment analysis.
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and reputation stays consistent across platforms.
  • Manage crisis communication and online escalations when needed.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • 57 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, and emerging platforms.
  • Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Suite, YouTube Analytics, GA4, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-volume content workflows.
  • A creative thinker with proven experience in scaling brands on social media.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in influencer marketing, paid media, and brand building.
  • Background in creative agencies, media companies, or consumer brands.
  • Ability to ideate and direct video-first content.
