UniLyf is building a real-time social layer to show whats actually happening around you starting from universities and scaling to neighborhoods and cities.
Were an early-stage startup building in public, moving fast, and experimenting daily.
Role Overview :
Were looking for a Growth & Content Strategist who deeply understands Instagram organic visibility.
This is not a posting job.
This is a strategy + execution + leadership role.
Youll be responsible for leading and guiding a small team of interns, helping them create Instagram Reels that:
Get discovered
Hold attention
Drive engagement (comments, shares, follows)
Build curiosity around UniLyf
Platform Focus :
Instagram is the core platform
This role is Instagram-first
Twitter/X, YouTube, etc. are not the focus right now
Were looking for depth, not breadth.
Key Responsibilities :
Define Instagram growth & visibility strategy
Guide and lead interns on:
Hooks (first 3 seconds)
Reel structure & pacing
Storytelling & retention
Captions & CTAs
Review daily content ideas and improve them
Track organic performance and iterate fast
Work closely with the founding team on narrative & positioning
You wont edit every video
but you must know exactly why a video works or fails.

Youre comfortable in a zero-to-one startup
No degree required
No years-of-experience filter
Execution matters more than resumes
Mandatory Live Screening Task :

Create & publish one original Reel on UniLyf
Post within 2448 hours
No paid ads or collaborations
Evaluation is based on:
Organic reach
Hook & retention
Engagement
Speed of execution
