About the Role

Shemrock & Shemford Group of SchoolsIndias leading school education brandsare looking for a creative, energetic, and self-driven Social Media Executive who can single-handedly manage and grow our social media presence.

This role is ideal for someone who loves creating reels, recording videos, understanding social media trends, and telling impactful stories through digital platforms. You will play a key role in showcasing school life, achievements, events, and brand values to a wide audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and manage daily social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
• Independently record high-quality photos and videos using your own iPhone
• Create engaging Instagram Reels, short videos, stories, and posts
• Handle basic video editing (cuts, captions, music, transitions)
• Design and publish school notices, announcements, and creatives
• Implement SEO-friendly captions, hashtags, and content strategies
• Apply basic digital marketing concepts to improve reach and engagement
• Capture and promote school events, classroom activities, celebrations, and achievements
• Monitor performance, insights, and trends to continuously optimize content
• Stay updated with latest social media trends, formats, and algorithms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in social media management or digital content creation
• Must own an iPhone (mandatory for video recording and reels creation)
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form video content, and social media algorithms
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools (mobile or desktop)
• Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and creatively
• Strong visual sense and storytelling ability
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with schools, education brands, or institutions
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
• Basic knowledge of analytics and engagement tracking
