Social Media Associate

Were looking for a Social Media Associate who understands gaming culture, internet trends, and how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content. Youll help run our social presence end-to-end, create high-performing content, and build a community around our games. If youre someone who can execute fast, think creatively, and understands why some content explodes while others flop. This role is for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

Content Ideation & Creative Collaboration

• Conceptualize high-performing, video-first content across platforms.
• Write strong hooks, scripts, and captions that stop the scroll in the first 3 seconds.
• Translate gameplay moments, product features, and internet trends into shareable content from memes to deep-dive gaming insights.
• Work closely with Designers & Video Editors. Brief clearly, iterate fast, and ship quality.
• Maintain a bold, consistent, and engaging brand voice.

Content Planning, Publishing & Product Alignment

• Own the monthly content calendar across platforms. And manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and timely launches.
• Stay tightly aligned with Product & Game teams to understand upcoming features, updates, launches, and in-game events.
• Translate product updates and roadmap milestones into compelling social narratives.
• Optimize titles, thumbnails, formats, and captions for maximum reach.
• Stay ahead of algorithm shifts and platform trends. Identify and proactively act on growth opportunities.

Community & Engagement Ownership

• Drive meaningful conversations across comments, DMs, and gaming discussions.
• Engage with players, streamers, and creators to build a passionate fanbase.
• Track community sentiment:whats exciting them and whats frustrating them. Then share the feed insights back internally.
• Ensure every post sparks interaction and strengthens community momentum.

Performance & Growth Obsession

• Track post-level metrics:engagement rate, watch time, shares, saves, CTR.
• Identify winning formats and double down aggressively.
• Kill underperforming ideas quickly and iterate smarter.
• Continuously test new storytelling angles, formats, and distribution tactics to improve growth.

Use it to accelerate ideation, test creative variations at speed, decode performance patterns, and build repeatable growth systems. AI should increase your velocity and sharpen your thinking, not replace originality.

What You Bring to the Table

• 13 years of experience in social media or content (Gaming is a strong plus).
• Experience collaborating with Designers and Video Editors to execute content efficiently.
• Proven ability to grow or improve engagement on a page or channel.
• Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
• Deep understanding of social algorithms and performance mechanics.
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate ideation, testing, and performance analysis without compromising originality.
• High ownership mindset:you dont wait to be told what to do and can confidently drive a brands social presence forward.
