Role Overview
Were looking for a Social Media & Brand Communications Specialist to lead Valar Digitals content, social media, and brand storytelling for B2B eCommerce brands.
Youll work closely with the founders and internal growth teams to build both company and founder branding, create and amplify content around our B2B eCommerce growth expertise, manage our presence across LinkedIn, X, and industry-relevant platforms, and collaborate with external partners when required.
This role blends strategy with hands-on execution and is ideal for someone who understands B2B buyer journeys, long sales cycles, and enterprise eCommerce decision-making, and can translate performance, insights, and case studies into strong narratives and measurable social impact.
What Youll Do
- Build and execute an integrated organic + paid social media strategy (primarily LinkedIn) focused on B2B eCommerce audiences
- Own the content strategy and calendar thought leadership, product updates, case studies, campaigns, and launch communication.
- Plan and run paid social campaigns (primarily LinkedIn), including targeting, creative testing, optimizations, and performance analysis.
- Translate B2B eCommerce metrics (lead quality, pipeline influence, deal velocity, conversion rates, account engagement) into compelling content stories.
- Drive measurable impact across brand awareness, engagement, inbound leads, and pipeline contribution.
- Collaborate with performance marketing, sales, design, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and strong campaign execution.
- Build and maintain social playbooks, posting cadences, tone guidelines, and best practices for scalable brand communication.
- Support founder branding by positioning leadership as credible voices in the B2B eCommerce and growth ecosystem.
- Coordinate with agencies, freelancers, or PR partners when required.
Must Have
- Graduate / Postgraduate degree.
- 26 years of experience in social media, content, or brand communications for B2B companies (eCommerce, SaaS, enterprise tech, or B2B services).
- Strong B2B copywriting skills, with the ability to convert complex offerings and outcomes into clear, value-driven narratives.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns and social publishing tools.
- Understanding of B2B buyer behavior, long sales cycles, and decision-maker targeting.
- Experience managing company and founder social profiles with a consistent, professional brand voice.
- Strong execution skills organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
Good to Have
- Background in B2B eCommerce, marketplaces, ERP-integrated commerce, or enterprise platforms.
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM Account-Based Marketing), demand generation, or pipeline-focused campaigns.
- Exposure to US or global B2B markets and international decision-maker audiences.
- Certifications in LinkedIn Marketing Labs, Meta Blueprint, or Google Analytics.
- Experience using AI tools for content ideation, social listening, and workflow automation.
- Prior startup or agency experience with comfort in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
