The Data Platform team's mission is to engineer and deliver self-service, performant and resilient data service products.

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Platform Engineer as part of the Platform Engineering team.

The role focuses on Snowflake administration, security, performance optimization, automation, and CI/CD integration within cloud environments (Azure/AWS)

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer Snowflake infrastructure, performance, and security policies (RBAC, encryption) and audit controls.

  • Optimize warehouse usage, storage, and query performance.

  • Automate platform management using Terraform, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Terraform.

  • Ensure cost monitoring, governance, and compliance.

  • Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and platform integration with cloud services.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 6-8 years of data warehouse development/administration experience, with 2-3 years in Snowflake and over all IT experience of 12+ years.

  • Strong SQL, Python, JavaScript, Terraform, and cloud (Azure/AWS) expertise.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of Snowflake Architecture including RBAC, cost optimization, and security best practices.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Ability to be open to discussion of potential options.

  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of the overall software development life cycle including development, testing and deployment of all application modules

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced development environment

Core/Must have skills

  • Snowflake Pro

  • Terraform to deploy resources on Azure & AWS, Ansible for Configration Changes

  • SQL, Python & Java Scripting

  • CI/CD – Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT Repos.

  • Snowflake Architecture including RBAC, Cost Optimization & Security best practices

  • Excellent Communication & Writing skills

  • Coding – Bash, ShellScripting, SQL, Unix

Good to have skills

  • Snowflake Pro Core Certification

  • Python & Automation is desirable

Work Schedule

  • Mandatory Work from Office (4 days a week)

  • Shift Timing - 2 to 11 PM (or) 3 to 12 AM IST

  • Location – Bangalore or Hyderabad (Candidates not willing to relocate need not apply)
