Job Description
Mid-level Snowflake Developer responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting cloud data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform. The role is hands-on and focused on ELT development, performance optimization, and reliable data delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, stages)
• Build and optimize ELT pipelines using Snowflake SQL
• Implement dimensional data models (Star / Snowflake)
• Develop stored procedures, tasks, streams, and Snowpipe integrations
• Perform query tuning and virtual warehouse optimization
• Support data migration from on-prem or cloud databases to Snowflake
• Troubleshoot data pipeline, performance, and data quality issues
• Collaborate with architects, BI, and engineering teams in an Agile setup
• Maintain technical documentation and follow enterprise standards
Required Skills & Experience
• 5–8 years of overall experience in Data Warehousing / BI
• 3–5 years of hands-on Snowflake development experience
• Strong Snowflake SQL and ELT expertise
• Experience with Snowflake features: Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, RBAC, Resource Monitors
• Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and basic Python
• Strong data modeling and SQL performance tuning skills
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud storage (S3 / ADLS)
• Agile delivery experience and strong communication skills
