Snowflake Developer

Role : DBT + Snowflake Developer (with OpenFlow experience)

Overview

We are seeking a DBT & Snowflake Data Engineer with strong SQL and ELT modeling experience. The role involves validating and refining DBT models, ensuring transformation accuracy, and optimizing Snowflake SQL pipelines. Knowledge of OpenFlow-based orchestration is preferred.

Key Responsibilities (DBT & Snowflake)

Design, review, and validate DBT models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers

Ensure SQL logic is correctly implemented and aligns with expected transformation rules

Optimize Snowflake SQL queries for performance and scalability

Apply best practices for model documentation, naming conventions, and testing

Identify discrepancies between expected logic and implemented DBT/SQL workflows

Collaborate with engineering and validation teams on end-to-end data pipeline accuracy

Support debugging and performance tuning of DBT models and Snowflake pipelines

Maintain documentation and enforce data modeling and transformation standards

OpenFlow (Nice to Have)

Work with orchestration pipelines in OpenFlow

Validate pipeline configurations, dependencies, and runtime logic

Support troubleshooting and performance tuning of workflow execution
