Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an SMT Line Engineer, based in Bengaluru. They will oversee the assembly and operational workflows of the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line. Responsibilities include supervising production processes, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of technicians. Operational efficiency, compliance with production deadlines, and collaboration with the quality assurance team are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage SMT line including Pick & Place machines, Reflow Oven, SPI and AOI
• Perform machine setup, line balancing, and product changeovers
• Troubleshoot basic SMT process and machine-related issues
• Ensure proper placement of electronic components and maintain quality standards
• Monitor production output and reduce defects
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for efficient line operations

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / ECE / Electrical
• 13 years of experience in SMT / PCBA manufacturing
• Knowledge of SMT processes and electronic components
• Strong troubleshooting and production handling skills
