About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SMSF Specialist (Australian Accounting) to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of accounting and technology, contributing to product development, testing, and enhancement of accounting software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Australian accounting and SMSF processes, along with a strong understanding of compliance and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive SMSF and accounting test data for software validation
• Perform software testing, validation, and quality assurance
• Develop test cases, scenarios, and real-world workflows
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and support teams
• Identify defects, analyse issues, and recommend improvements
• Ensure accounting workflows are accurately reflected in the system
• Support product releases and post-release validation activities

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Australian Accounting and/or SMSF
• Strong understanding of SMSF compliance, financial reporting, and taxation
• Experience with tools such as Class, BGL, SuperMate (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
