Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Finance Operations
In this role, we are looking for a cost accounting postgraduate with prior cost accounting experience and should have led a team size of 10 + people. In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a high-pressure business environment while being a good collaborator. Prior Operations experience in the plant or BPO Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / Robotic implementation experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead a plant finance team and manage month end, quarter end year end preparation, be responsible for smooth execution & ensure books are closed on time and reconciliations are performed timely.
Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and of highest quality and ensure metrics are met as per agreed KPIs / SLAs targets as applicable.
Perform & review month end closing & reporting activities and ensure completion by other team members, as required.
Proactive client communication on regular business matters, issues etc. Ensure high quality of information and interaction in Management Business Reviews
Proactively anticipate and mitigate any process issues or escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Build customer relationship, drive confidence, and improve customer satisfaction.
Ensuring successful transition of activities, ensuring customer sign-off on all relevant documents and bring process to steady-state.
Ensure Robust Control Environment leading to compliance on all internal and customer requirements, Proactive Risk Assessment and Mitigation
Ensure successful completion of all internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits, ensuring regular and timely update of documents and MIS.
Responsible for projecting workforce requirement, recruitment, training & development, and retention
Drive people engagement practices, improve employee motivation and drive performance to achieve excellence.
Lead projects for implementation of new tools & technology, ensure robust LEAN DNA, drive transformation projects.
Lead account level initiatives related to multi-functional responsibilities like BCP/ DRP, KSS, Design Thinking etc.
Self-motivated and team-oriented, good interpersonal skills and ability to work with others for completion of team tasks.
Understanding of costing Process in Manufacturing set up.
Open, proactive, and constructive communication.
Team Management
Accountability for results and commitments with no tolerance to low performance
Initiative for improvement, problem solving and personal development.
Knowledge of Forecasting & Budgeting process at Plant
Period close activity at Manufacturing location
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / MBA Finance
SAP / experience in similar ERPs (Oracle / JDE / SAGE / BPCS / PRMS, etc.) environment is must.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts(24X7)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to multi-task, work in a high-pressure environment and successfully manage stressful situations.
Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills
Ability to learn & adapt to innovative technologies and drive innovation.
Preferred qualifications
Good accounting knowledge in both Management Reporting & Financial Reporting
Eagerness, extra energy & dedication to make a difference.
Excellent communication skill, written & verbal.
Good in Problem Solving and Analysis
Knowledge of Blackline tool for Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
