Skytap EngineerLocation: GurgaonExperience: 5+ yearsJoin our team to support and enhance virtual training environments using Skytap. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about virtualization, automation, and global collaboration.Your RoleAs a Skytap Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and deploying virtual machines (VMs) on the Skytap platform to support training initiatives. You’ll collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to ensure learners receive the correct environments for their courses.In this role, you will:Support and maintain existing VM infrastructure on Skytap.Create and deploy virtual machines tailored to specific training courses.Collaborate with trainers and SMEs to build and update virtual labs.Monitor Skytap usage and apply cost-saving measures.Programmatically monitor and resolve issues within Skytap.Work flexible shifts to support global teams (Primary shift: 3pm – 12am IST).Your ProfileBachelor’s degree in Computer Science.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts including x86/IBM Power servers, storage, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).Familiarity with CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Knowledge of visualization tools (Grafana, PowerBI).Experience with configuration automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).Proficiency in both Windows and Linux systems.Experience deploying software using containers.Scripting skills (Python preferred).Experience with API and third-party integrations (Skytap–Docebo integration is a plus).Exposure to machine learning and AI is a plus.Willingness to work flexible shifts to support global teams.What You’ll Love About Working HereOpportunity to work on cutting-edge virtualization technologies.Collaborative environment with global teams.Flexibility in work hours and remote support options.Continuous learning and exposure to emerging tech.About UsWe are a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering innovative training solutions through virtualization.
