Role Overview / Purpose

As an Interior Site Supervisor at Tailor Your Home , you will play a critical role in translating design concepts into high-quality, well-executed interior spaces. You will be responsible for managing daily on-site execution, coordinating multiple teams and vendors, maintaining quality and timelines, and ensuring safe and efficient site operations. Your technical knowledge, leadership, and attention to detail will directly impact project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise and manage day-to-day on-site activities for interior execution projects, including carpentry, modular furniture installation, joinery, cabinetry, painting, polishing, finishes, flooring, and related works.
• Ensure all site work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and design intent .
• Monitor work progress to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and execution methods .

Coordination & Team Management

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, carpenters, labour teams, and subcontractors to plan daily work activities.
• Allocate tasks, supervise manpower, and ensure smooth workflow across trades.
• Act as a key point of communication between the design team, project team, vendors, and clients (when required) .

Quality Control & Materials Management

• Ensure quality control of workmanship and materials at every stage of execution.
• Verify materials delivered on-site for correctness, quality, and quantity as per specifications.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Monitor finishing details to maintain Tailor Your Homes design and execution standards.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily and weekly site progress reports , including work status, labour deployment, and material usage.
• Record measurements, prepare material consumption logs, and assist with billing, quantity checks, and BOQ verification if required.
• Maintain proper site documentation for smooth project tracking and coordination.

Safety & Site Discipline

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and discipline at the site.
• Ensure all workers follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE .
• Address safety or execution-related issues proactively and escalate concerns when required.

Inventory & Procurement Support

• Track incoming and outgoing materials on site.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials , avoiding shortages or excess stock.
• Support planning to optimize manpower and material usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in interior site supervision, interior fit-outs, or execution projects.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering , or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and execute from interior/architectural/joinery drawings .
• Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, carpentry, joinery, modular furniture, and installation processes .
• Strong coordination, leadership, and people-management skills .
• Proactive problem-solving attitude with the ability to foresee and resolve site challenges.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office / Excel for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
• Clear understanding and commitment to health, safety, and cleanliness standards on site.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience handling residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects , including modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry, or turnkey projects.
• Basic understanding of MEP coordination (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) in interior finishing stages.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to multiple project sites within Mumbai .
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi for effective coordination.
