AWS Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Bangalore | Enterprise-Scale Cloud Environment

Salary: 4million - 5.5 million Indian Rupees (INR) / 40 - 55 lakh

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days onsite in the office

Were hiring an experienced Cloud SRE to join a global organisation investing heavily in its next-generation cloud platform.

This team sits at the heart of a large, complex AWS estate partnering with engineering and data teams to design, build and operate highly reliable, secure and scalable systems used across the business.

This is not a traditional support role. Its hands-on platform engineering with real ownership.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Designing and evolving resilient, multi-account AWS architectures (multi-AZ / multi-region)
• Building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform
• Developing CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions
• Automating operational processes with Python / Bash (Boto3 required)
• Improving observability, monitoring and defining SLOs
• Leading incident response and post-incident reviews
• Driving performance, capacity planning and cost optimisation initiatives
• Embedding security best practices across the platform

Youll work closely with development teams to reduce toil, improve reliability, and future-proof the cloud environment as demand grows.

What Were Looking For

• Strong experience managing complex, multi-account AWS environments
• Deep hands-on Terraform expertise
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Automation mindset (Python/Bash; AWS SDK experience essential)
• Background handling production incidents and critical changes
• Knowledge of AWS services across compute, networking, databases, security and observability
• Understanding of cloud security principles (encryption, vulnerability management, shift-left practices)
• Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS), cost optimisation strategies, and DevOps/Agile environments would be advantageous.
