Job Description
TechOps Engineer
Experience: 2+ years
Focus: Reliability, Automation using Python & Shell/Bash, Production Support
Location: Onsite Hyderabad, India
Shift: Rotational shifts (Day/Night) 24/7 coverage
Duration: 6 months with possibility for extension
Start: Immediate
Were looking for a TechOps Engineer to help keep our production systems stable, reliable, and running smoothly. Youll work closely with engineering teams, automate operational work, and support live systems in a cloud environment.
What Youll Do
- Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and PromQL
- Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell/Bash scripts
- Run complex MySQL queries for production support and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in an AWS environment
- Read and analyze Java logs and stack traces to find root causes
- Build scripts and tools to speed up troubleshooting and reduce repeat issues
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in TechOps, SRE, or DevOps roles
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (Day/Night) for 24/7 support
- Strong problem-solving and incident-handling skills
- Good scripting skills in Python or Shell
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch)
- Ability to read and understand Java code/logs
- Strong SQL/MySQL skills, including complex queries
- Experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot or similar) for scripting and automation
