Job Description
Site ReliabilityEngineer (SRE-1)
We are lookingfor amotivatedanddetail-orientedSite ReliabilityEngineer (SRE-1) to join
our engineeringteam. As anSRE-1, you willplay a key role inensuringthe reliability,
scalability, andperformance of our systems. You will work closely withdevelopers and
operations teams to automatedeployments, improvemonitoring, andstrengthenour
cloudinfrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support,maintain, andscale cloudinfrastructure on AWS.
- Implement andmanage CI/CD pipelines to enable fast andreliable software delivery.
- Deploy,monitor, andtroubleshoot applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Write scripts (Bash/Python/other) to automate repetitive tasks andimprove efficiency.
- Collaborate withdevelopment teams to enforcebestpractices ininfrastructure as code, observability, andsystemreliability.
- Assist inincident response, root cause analysis, andimplementingpreventive measures.
- Monitor systemperformance andproactively suggest improvements to increase reliability andreducedowntime.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE/ CloudEngineering.
- Hands-onexperience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM,VPC, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling,monitoring).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Strongunderstandingof Git workflows.
- Goodscriptingskills in Bash, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity withmonitoringandloggingtools (Prometheus, Grafana,ELK, or similar).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Basic knowledge ofnetworkingandsecurity concepts.
- Experience withcontainerization(Docker).
- Interest inlearningnew cloud, DevOps, andautomationtools.
