Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As a part of the E&C India Site Management organization, the Site QA/QC Manager is responsible for Quality Assurance / Quality Control at the site assigned to him.
The Site QA/QC Manager:
a. Represents E&C India towards the client, partners and sub-contractors in all QA/QC related issues.
b. Assumes ownership and takes responsibility for the QA/QC system on site.
c. Manages the QA/QC interfaces between disciplines at site as well as between partners and subcontractors.
d. Demonstrates an inter-discipline mindset, intellectual and honest profile.
e. Demonstrates beside relevant technical experience a strong management and leadership capability.
f. Ensures the quality of the works according to our internal and international requirements.
g. Provides realistic, reliable and verifiable reports on QA/QC issues, benchmarks, trends and achievement of milestones.

● Complies with IMS
● Has a personal commitment to safety

Quality:
● Develops a consistent concept for the execution of the QA/QC work on the basis of E&C internal and contractual standards and specifications. Plans and organizes
the site QA/QC infrastructure
● Evaluates the Quality System of Subcontractors together with Discipline
Superintendents, reviews and approves Subcontractor’s Quality Plans, Inspection
and Test Plans including the scheduling of QA/QC activities according to internal and contractual code and specification requirements
● Develops and implements in joint consultation with the Site Manager project-specific working instructions and procedures such as Quality Manual and
Individual procedures and ITP ́s utilizing the E&C QA/QC standards
● Conducts regular inspections as per approved ITPs and internal audits with
proper recording and follow up of the findings
● Define index for MC Dossier

Financial Contribution:
● Successful completion of the works within defined quality benchmarks.

Operative effectiveness:
● Handles deviations, disputes, modifications and clarifications required at
site in a prompt and qualified manner.

Are you a MATCH?

Education: Engineering Degree in Mechanical
Discipline: ASNT Level-2 certificate or higher
Work Experience: 8-10+ years at an construction site
Foreign Language: English

Major international codes and standards
● Principles and basic knowledge of engineering in all disciplines
● Basic knowledge of Site Safety Procedures
● Knowledge of ISO 9001 system
● Conducted Internal Audits for ISO 9001
● Experience of Site Quality, Equipment Inspections(Review of WPS/PQR, NDE etc.)
