Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our interior design projects are executed seamlessly from post-production to final delivery. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain open communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Supervise and oversee the daily operations on-site for interior projects.
• Ensure work progresses according to the approved timeline, maintaining productivity.
• Monitor project budget, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and report discrepancies.

Team Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and direct construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring the appropriate workforce is on-site.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations by all team members.
• Resolve onsite issues or disputes efficiently and professionally.

Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety codes, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality standards and specifications.
• Address construction defects and implement corrective actions promptly.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, design team, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate project requirements, schedules, and progress reports to all relevant parties.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection results.
• Track project changes and delays, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
• Report project status and potential issues to senior management.

Safety Management

• Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective measures.

Scheduling & Logistics

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely task completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for the timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Manage site access logistics, traffic, and other relevant issues.

Cost Management

• Monitor and control project costs to adhere to budget constraints.
• Manage change orders and variations in project scope, ensuring documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with procurement and accounts to manage payment processes for contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the interior design or construction industry.

- Strong understanding of interior design principles and project management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
