Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer (B. Tech/BE Electrical/Electronics) with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in CCTV surveillance systems, networking, and OFC infrastructure. The candidate should also have basic supervisory exposure to manage technicians/helpers, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure quality execution at site. Experience in airport/critical infrastructure environments will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1) Site Execution & Supervision

Execute and supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV, networking, and OFC works.

Coordinate daily site activities, manpower allocation, and work progress tracking.

Ensure work completion as per approved drawings, BOQ, and project timelines.

2) CCTV & Security Systems

Installation and commissioning of IP CCTV cameras, PoE switches, storage units, workstations, monitors, etc.

Camera positioning, focusing, testing, and integration with VMS/NVR.

Troubleshooting of CCTV and system-level issues (hardware, software, and network-related).

3) Networking & OFC Works

Basic network configuration and troubleshooting: IP addressing, subnetting, switch configuration (basic level).

Supervise OFC laying, dressing, termination, splicing coordination, patch panel management, and labelling.

Ensure testing and documentation of fiber links (power meter/OTDR reports where applicable).

Ensure proper cable routing, containment (GI trays/conduits), and site restoration.

4) Documentation & Coordination

Maintain daily progress reports, work permits, checklists, and material consumption records.

Coordinate with airport authorities, client/consultant teams for inspections, approvals, and site access.

Support preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, commissioning documents, and handover dossiers.

5) Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with airport safety norms, work permits, and site protocols.

Ensure quality workmanship, proper cable management, labelling, and housekeeping at site.

Required Qualifications

B. Tech / BE in Electrical / Electronics / ECE

Sound knowledge of CCTV, Networking (LAN), and OFC/Fiber infrastructure

Ability to interpret system drawings, layouts, and technical specifications

Experience Requirements

45 years of experience in CCTV / Networking / OFC execution projects

Basic supervisory experience (handling technicians/helpers/subcontractors)

Prior experience in airport / metro / rail / critical infrastructure projects preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong troubleshooting skills (CCTV + network + OFC)

Good coordination and communication skills
