Job Summary:
A Civil Site Engineer with hands-on experience in waterproofing works responsible for supervising, executing, and monitoring waterproofing activities at construction sites to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute waterproofing works such as:
Terrace waterproofing
Basement waterproofing
Toilet & wet area waterproofing
Retaining wall treatment
Expansion joint treatment
Inspect surface preparation before application of waterproofing systems.
Ensure correct application of membranes, coatings, injections, and sealants.
Coordinate with contractors, applicators, and project managers.
Monitor daily site activities and maintain work progress reports.
Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Handle material planning, estimation, and inventory control.
Ensure safety procedures are followed at the site.
Attend client meetings and resolve technical issues related to waterproofing.
Prepare measurement sheets and billing documentation.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems (membrane, crystalline, PU coating, bituminous, etc.)
Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
Good problem-solving and site coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting.
Understanding of construction safety standards.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
25 years of experience in waterproofing works (preferred).
