Job Overview:

• UHPC India Pvt Ltd is hiring a Site Engineer to oversee and manage high rise building construction projects in Mumbai.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction methodologies, project coordination, and site supervision.
• The role requires ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities : Site Supervision & Coordination

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. Supervise subcontractors, labourers, and junior engineers to maintain smooth site operations.
• Monitor material and equipment usage to optimize efficiency and minimize wastage.

Project Execution & Planning

• Review and interpret drawings, and technical specifications.
• Assist in developing construction schedules and tracking progress.
• Support project budgeting and ensure cost control on-site.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all construction work meets industry standards, project specifications, and company guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify defects, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation related to quality control and compliance.

Safety & Risk Management

• Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety measures on-site.
• Identify potential hazards and report safety concerns promptly.

Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work progress, material deliveries, and workforce allocation.
• Provide regular updates to senior engineers and project management teams.

Problem-Solving & Technical Support

• Identify construction challenges and work with the team to implement practical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
• Ensure proper execution of engineering best practices and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering;
• Experience: 4-6 years of site engineering experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction methodologies, structural engineering, and building codes.
• Project Coordination: Ability to manage on-site work, materials, and teams effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address site challenges and ensure smooth execution.
• Safety Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other construction tools.
