The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising day-to-day site execution while taking a lead role in material planning, purchase coordination, vendor management, and ensuring timely delivery of project materials . This role acts as the operational bridge between the site team and the Purchase/Projects department to ensure smooth project execution within budget and timelines.

• Review BOQs, drawings, and material specifications to determine material requirements for the site.
• Prepare and raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) with complete details and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely approvals, vendor finalization, and PO issuance.
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery as per project schedule.
• Conduct quality and quantity checks for materials delivered; ensure discrepancies are reported and resolved.
• Maintain material consumption logs, stock registers, and daily/weekly material requirement plans.
• Coordinate samples, mock-ups, and approvals with Project Managers, Consultants, and Purchase teams.
• Track and monitor material movement from warehouse/vendors to site.
• Ensure optimal utilization of materials and minimize wastage.

• Oversee civil, interior, MEP, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing works as per approved plans.
• Ensure all work is executed in line with specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors and monitor manpower deployment.
• Raise RFIs and clarify site issues with consultants or design teams as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and site protocols.

• Act as the key coordination point between Site Team, Purchase Department, and Vendors.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Manager on material status, delays, or constraints.
• Coordinate with Storekeeper (if available) for material receiving, tagging, and documentation.
• Support in vendor negotiations by providing accurate site-level data and consumption details.

• Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material registers, labor logs, and site inspection reports.
• Prepare measurement sheets (MB) for contractor billing and material reconciliation statements.
• Track PRPODeliveryGRN cycles and report periodically to management.
• Ensure all material approvals, specifications, and drawings are filed and updated.

• Strong understanding of construction materials, specifications, and vendor landscape.
• Knowledge of purchase cycles, PR/PO processes, and basic negotiation with suppliers.
• Ability to read drawings, interpret BOQs, and plan material requirements accurately.
• Excellent coordination skills with site teams, vendors, and procurement.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (preferred), and procurement/site documentation tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of store management and inventory practices is an advantage.

• Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Fit-Out / Construction.
• 25 years of experience in project execution with hands-on experience in materials and purchase coordination .
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or fast-track fit-out projects preferred.

• Timely material availability as per site schedule.

• Quality of material received and compliance with specs.
• Timely completion of site activities and coordination effectiveness.
