Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Site engineers plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Technical Expertise:
- They check technical drawings and designs, provide technical advice, and troubleshoot any issues that arise on site.
- Site Preparation and Layout:
- Site engineers are responsible for preparing the site for construction, including surveys, levelling, and setting out.
- Quality Control and Safety:
- They ensure that construction work meets quality standards and that all safety regulations are followed.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Site engineers communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
- Resource Management:
- They are responsible for managing resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure they are available when needed.
- Documentation:
- Site engineers maintain accurate records of all project activities, including progress reports, work orders, and change orders.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
- Developing cost estimates and budgets for projects .
- Procuring necessary materials and equipment .
