Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of site execution experience to support residential, villa, apartment, commercial, and layout development projects preferably from Bangalore & having fluency in Kannada. The candidate will assist in supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols. This is a hands-on site role ideal for an engineer looking to grow technically and professionally under senior project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Take end-to-end responsibility for monitoring and execution of the project from the design stage through execution until final handover to the customer.
• Provide scope of work for awarded packages (accountabilities, authorities, etc.).
• Prepare detailed project plans (work schedules, risk mitigation plans) in coordination with project management consultants.
• Ensure adherence to quality parameters, standards, and compliances.
• Participate in the joint procurement process.

Coordination with Project Management Consultants / Contractors

• Conduct weekly review meetings with contractors/PMCs on work progress, construction schedules, design, and quality issues.
• Identify issues hampering project progress and resolve project-related bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with the Purchase department to obtain required materials.
• Develop communication protocols (responsibility, frequency, communication channel, review meetings) and ensure adherence.

Material Procurement

• Follow up with the project management consultant on the schedule of required materials.
• Coordinate with Contracts for fulfilment of material requirements.
• Coordinate with Design and Regional Head as required.

Project Tracking

• Track and monitor construction progress with respect to final drawings, design, construction schedule, and budget.
• Conduct daily meetings with team members to discuss progress and issues.
• Monitor quality through regular visual inspections and by scrutinizing reports from PMC consultants and Project Managers.

1. Sound knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and procedures.

2. Ability to read and interpret drawings (architectural, structural, and MEP).

3. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site documentation.

4. Good interpersonal and coordination skills.

5. Strong observation and follow-through attitude.

Qualifications

1. Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

2. Experience: 5+ years in building construction and/or layout development projects.

3. Should have site-level exposure to residential villas, apartments, or plotted developments.
