Key Responsibilities:
Tealium IQ Tag Management: Set up, configure, and maintain Tealium IQ implementations, including tag deployment, data layer management, and event tracking.
Data Layer Management: Consult on the client’s the data layer across websites and mobile applications to ensure accurate data capture.
Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve issues related to tag execution, data collection, and page performance. Continuously optimize the tagging infrastructure for better performance.
Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to ensure proper data layer and tag management integrations.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, product, and analytics teams to understand tracking requirements and ensure the correct implementation of Tealium tags and third-party vendor tags.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure the accuracy of implemented tags and tracking mechanisms.
Reporting and Analysis: Utilize data collected through Tealium and other analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Taxonomy & Governance – supporting the client with maintaining and implementing robust data taxonomies across media platforms, including UTM tagging.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on tag implementations, data layers, and processes for internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Tealium IQ: Proven hands-on experience with Tealium IQ, including tag configuration, custom event tracking, and data layer implementation.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues related to web development and tag execution.
Data and Analytics Tools: Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues related to tag management and data collection.
Cross-team Collaboration: Experience working with developers, product managers, marketers, and data analysts.
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the entire tagging and data collection process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Tealium AudienceStream and Tealium EventStream.
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or other tag management systems.
Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and how they impact data collection.
Soft Skills:
Strong Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and contribute to team goals while managing individual responsibilities.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
