Job Description
Job Title: Siemens PLC & HMI Developer
Location: Pune
Experience: 46 years
Industry: Industrial Automation / Manufacturing / Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and support PLC programs using Siemens S7-317-2 PN/DP, S7-315-2 DP, S7-317-2 DP, and S7-1214 CPUs.
- Develop and support HMI applications for TP1500, TP700, TP900, and KP400 Comfort panels using TIA Portal and WinCC.
- Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, and MPI.
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems and third-party devices.
- Perform FAT, testing, and debugging of automation systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and user manuals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC and HMI development.
- Proficiency in TIA Portal, STEP 7 (v5.x), and WinCC (Comfort/Advanced).
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with FAT, SAT and Onsite commissioning
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT or Industry 4.0 technologies
- Familiarity with version control systems and project lifecycle tools.
