ROLE SUMMARY

Engineer responsible for configuring, validating, and optimizing Oracle Siebel CRM applications using Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Tools. Works with architects, product owners, and technical teams to support Siebel Call Center, Partner, and eService modules in a 24.12 environment. Supports migration of Siebel to AWS, including repository updates, UI changes, business logic changes, workflow configurations, integration updates, and workspace-based deployments. Ensures continuity of Siebel operations and alignment with AWS platform requirements.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Siebel Configurator / Siebel Tools Specialist with experience configuring Siebel CRM applications in a 24.12 environment. The role supports Siebel Call Center, Partner, and eService modules and uses Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Tools to configure Business Components, Business Objects, Applets, Views, and Workflows. The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and validating Siebel configurations, managing repository and workspace changes, and supporting issue analysis across environments. The role also supports activities related to the migration of Siebel to AWS, including updates to integrations, deployment processes, and run-time configuration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 510 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Siebel CRM, including development and configuration using Siebel Tools.
• Strong experience modifying and validating Siebel repository objects (BCs, BOs, Applets, Views, Links, Workflows).
• Experience performing repository merges , conflict resolution, SRF builds, and release management.
• Solid understanding of Siebel runtime behavior, Object Managers, component groups, and event flows.
• Experience analyzing Siebel logs and troubleshooting complex functional issues.
• Familiarity with integrations leveraging Siebel EAI, Web Services, REST APIs, or middleware platforms.
• Experience working in environments running Siebel IP 17+ or v24.x (including Open UI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Siebel environments hosted on AWS (EC2, RDS/Aurora, ALB, CloudWatch logs, etc.).
• Understanding of CI/CD approaches for Siebel repository migrations.
• Exposure to containerization concepts or cloud-based modernization patterns.
• Experience working in enterprise-grade, highly regulated environments with strict change management.
• Familiarity with front-end customization in Siebel Open UI (JavaScript, PM/PR, CSS).
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for Siebel configuration components.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years with Siebel Tools and repository configuration.
