Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shopify Expert to manage, maintain, and enhance our Shopify website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring website hygiene, improving user experience, managing product data, and implementing new features to support business growth. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail and hands-on experience with Shopify store management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the back-end and front-end of Shopify website to ensure smooth functionality and performance

Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Add, update, and manage products, collections, pricing, and inventory

Ensure website hygiene, including content accuracy, image quality, and broken link checks

Optimize website performance, loading speed, and mobile responsiveness

Implement SEO best practices, including meta tags, URLs, and image optimization

Integrate and manage Shopify apps and third-party tools

Set up and maintain payment gateways, shipping rules, taxes, and discount codes

Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, errors, and technical issues

Ensure website security and compliance with Shopify standards

Coordinate with design, marketing, and content teams for website updates and campaigns

Development of microsite and landing pages for product launch

Monitor website analytics and provide performance insights

Conduct regular backups, updates, and quality checks

Support new feature implementation and website enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Shopify

Strong knowledge of Shopify theme customization and Liquid templating

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic UI/UX principles

Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins

Working knowledge of the Marketing Events, Discounts, and Gift Cards and their configurations in Shopify

Understanding of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization

Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and performance optimization

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Shopify Plus

Familiarity with tracking tools

Knowledge of CRO tools and A/B testing

Prior experience working with cross-functional teams
