Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Shopify Web Developer who can build exceptionally high-quality, custom Shopify websites for luxury brands. This is not a template-based role. We are looking for someone who understands luxury UX, pixel-perfect execution, refined motion, and performance-first development.

What Youll Work On

Custom Shopify websites for luxury furniture and jewelry brands

High-AOV product detail pages with rich storytelling

Editorial-style collection and campaign pages

Mobile-first, performance-optimized storefronts

Elegant animations and micro-interactions

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development

Build custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Work deeply with Shopify 2.0 sections, blocks, and metafields

Implement advanced product logic (variants, materials, finishes, stones)

Ensure scalable, maintainable theme architecture

Frontend & UX Excellence

Convert high-fidelity Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify builds

Implement subtle, premium animations without impacting performance

Maintain consistent experience across devices and browsers

Performance, SEO & Quality

Optimize for Core Web Vitals

Follow SEO and accessibility best practices

Maintain high code quality and performance standards

Collaboration

Work closely with designers, product, and founders

Contribute to UX and technical decisions

Help set and raise the quality bar

Must-Have Skills

36+ years of Shopify development experience

Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Solid understanding of Shopify 2.0 architecture

Proven experience building premium or luxury e-commerce websites

Strong design sensitivity and attention to detail

Experience working from Figma

Good to Have

Experience with luxury brands (furniture, jewelry, fashion)

GSAP or advanced CSS animation experience

CRO knowledge for high-AOV products

Familiarity with headless Shopify / Hydrogen

Accessibility best practices

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)
