Shopify - UI/UX Designer

We atTYS Performance Marketing Consultants are looking for someone just like you: green, sharp yet blunt, pun-y yet funny, a grammar Nazi to help us in consulting young brands to both test and scale their product range and businesses on the empty quarter in this universe called the Internet!

We're an agile team and we want someone that's as quick as we are - on their feet and with their wit, too. You'll spend your day working on building and managing Shopify websites, and building and rebuilding both young and veteran brands, country-wide.

Why is building a website important? Well, in the above-mentioned empty quarter called the internet, youre essentially building the point of sale for a client,a parallel to the so-called retail store in the physical world. The question that should run through your mind all day is (a) how do I get my client to learn about and reach my product the fastest; and (b) how can I get more revenue out of this website I am building by orchestrating the purchasing pattern of my customer? Youll be mentored by the founder directly in order to learn these skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Creating websites for clients on the Shopify PartnerPlatform;
• Managing websites for the client on the Shopify PartnerPlatform this includes everything from making minor changes to doing new product listings;
• Testing and improving the design of the website based on the analytics provided by the ads team and/or based on campaign requirements;
• Brand building through content writing, content creation, and improving customer experience;
• Client servicing, which includes meeting with our clients, updating clients on new developments;
• Writing, coordinating and distributing content.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLL

• Excellent spoken and written English;
• An interest in marketing, communications, social media management;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
• An ability to consistently demonstrate our values of insight, hard work, and effectiveness in your personal approach to work;
• An entrepreneurial attitude coupled with excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn;
• A proactive, service-focussed attitude towards clients and teams you work with;
• An ability to prioritise work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times;
• An ability to work collaboratively with a team and teach new team members.
