Job Summary

We are looking for a Shopify Plus Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the Shopify ecosystem, front-end development, and custom Shopify solutions, with the ability to integrate apps, optimize performance, and deliver scalable solutions for high-traffic stores.

Experience in the Makeup & Skincare / Beauty industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify Plus stores
• Build and optimize custom Shopify themes and sections using Liquid
• Implement complex front-end interactions using JavaScript (strong proficiency required)
• Work with HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS and Alpine.jsto create responsive and performance-optimized UI
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and custom apps
• Develop solutions using Shopify REST APIs and Shopify Functions
• Troubleshoot store issues and provide scalable, business-oriented solutions
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to implement requirements
• Maintain clean, version-controlled code using Git (GitHub / Bitbucket)
• Ensure best practices for performance, security, and scalability
• Support store enhancements, feature rollouts, and ongoing optimizations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of hands-on Shopify / Shopify development experience
• Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem
• Expert-level JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in:
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Tailwind CSS
• Shopify Liquid
• Experience with:
• Shopify REST APIs
• Shopify Functions
• App integrations (public & private apps)
• Ability to analyse requirements and propose effective technical solutions
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket
• Good understanding of e-commerce workflows (PDP, cart, checkout, promotions, etc.)

Good to Have (Plus Skills)

• Experience with React / Next.js
• Knowledge of GraphQL (Shopify Storefront & Admin APIs)
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL
• Prior experience working with Makeup, Skincare, or Beauty brands
• Exposure to headless commerce or custom Shopify apps
