Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer Shopify eCommerce
Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Mid-Level (4-7 years)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify storefronts and Shopify Plus implementations.
- Build, integrate, and optimize APIs and microservices in a MACH-compliant architecture.
- Work with headless CMS platforms and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js or React.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews within an Agile environment.
- Implement performance optimization and security best practices for eCommerce applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Keep up with new tools and trends in the Shopify and MACH tech space.
Required Qualifications
- 25 years of professional experience in web development, with at least 1 year working on Shopify or Shopify Plus.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, Storefront API, and theme development.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue).
- Familiarity with API-first development and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of cloud-native development (preferably with Netlify or GCP).
- Exposure to headless CMS platforms like Contentstack or Contentful.
- Strong version control skills using Git.
