Job Description
TCS is hiring for Shift Manager - Freight Forwarding role.
Qualification:- Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) is mandatory.
Shift- Rotational 24*7
Job Description-
• Lead shift operations for FCL, LCL, and Air shipments, ensuring seamless execution aligned with SOPs and service benchmarks.
• Oversee full shipment lifecycle coordination: booking, pickup, customs, transit, arrival, and delivery.
• Supervise team workflows and KPIs, ensuring optimal productivity and on-time performance.
• Act as the first escalation point for operational challenges, guiding swift resolutions.
• Promote data accuracy and documentation compliance in internal platforms such as BO and Salesforce.
• Monitor communication across the shift, identify gaps, and escalate recurring issues to the Delivery Manager.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and forward thinking.
