Job description for Security Shift Manager

The Security Shift Manager in a casino is responsible for overseeing security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and patrons during assigned shifts. They lead and manage the security team, coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies, and enforce security procedures to maintain a secure environment within the casino.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage and supervise security operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

·         Monitor surveillance systems, conduct patrols, and address any security concerns promptly.

·         Respond effectively to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies, maintaining order and safety.

·         Lead, train, and motivate the security team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

·         Implement and enforce security procedures, protocols, and policies within the casino.

·         Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to address security issues and ensure a secure environment.

·         Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of security-related activities.

·         Contribute to the development and execution of emergency response plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

·         Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in Security may be preferred.

·         Min Experience of 10 year

·         Proven experience in a security role, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

·         Sound knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.

·         Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response technologies.

·         Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

·         Physical fitness and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

·         Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

·         Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
