Shift Electrical Engineer - Nandesari

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety compliance of electrical systems and equipment across the plant. This includes managing high-voltage switchyards, ensuring energy efficiency, and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure. The role demands strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain 66 kV grid switchyard and associated systems. • Ensure electrical safety and compliance with statutory regulations. • Manage and maintain electrical equipment, including Transformers, DG Sets, RTCC Panels, i-MCC & PCC Panels, VFD Drives, UPS and battery Systems, Battery Chargers, PA Systems, Elevators, Cranes/Hoists, CCTV, and AC Systems. • Monitor and optimize power quality and energy consumption. • Prepare and maintain electrical documentation and power consumption reports. • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance activities. • Maintain AMC schedules and ensure timely servicing of electrical equipment. • Prepare SOPs, SMPs, and Safety Management Plans. • Train team members on electrical safety practices. • Use diagnostic tools such as thermography for fault detection. • Maintain power factor and ensure efficient motor maintenance and vendor coordination. • Record and report power consumption data for G7 Plant
